Travel with pets

Sometimes travelling with pets can be more of a hassel thatn it is worth.  Many people choose to leave their pets at home because of this.  Here are some ideas that make travelling with your pet easier. Lets use a family vacation from vail to phoenix as an example. 

First, list your home as a short term rental in Vail which will help pay for your vacation.  You can also find great rentals in Phoenix which will save you even more money on your stay in Phoenix.

Because there is so much to do in Phoenix, you may want to look up a Scottsdale Pet Sitter to take care of the pets.  This will allow you to stay out all day without having to get back to the house to feed and walk the dogs as they will do it for you. 

Next make sure you purchase a Handy-Leash. This is a great dog leash for travel because  it stays on your dog and your do not have to worry about losing it.  It is so much more convenient because you do not have to put the leash on every time you stop to go to the bathroom.

If you plan on golfing make sure you check out websites before you head down that will give you great deals on Green Fees.  Phoenix even has some of the best public courses in the country, so make sure you look into those as well. The best part is that using a pet sitter will allow you to play all day long.

The only part that may be a bit of a struggle is the drive.  The pets will need to go potty, but there are lots of rest areas along the way, and if you stop in Flagstaf, they do have a few Hotels that alow pets.  If you cannot find a hotel, do not hesitate to camp because some of the most beautiful camping in the country can be found near Payson and Flagstaff.
